Gardening as a Learning Tool for Open Group

An experiential learning program for young minds. We form a cohort of lifelong learners for 20 weeks engagement with a challenge to grow a plant in ArecaPot, a natural wood container, from seed to harvest. While gardening activity itself has a lot of benefits, the young participants learn Science, Mathematics and Life Skills seamlessly.
The open group model is an expanded version of the school program. We form groups of nine participants and multiple groups in a housing society. The hybrid mode of engagement has WhatsApp groups for education supplemented by weekly in-person demonstration of the key aspects.
